Stainless steel wire

An attractive but inconspicuous barrier. Used in this case as a safety barrier on the edge of a retaining wall. Any amount of wire strands can be used. Being less visible it will not restrict views. This wire is called 'Miami' due to it's common use around the city of the same name.

Templestowe designer fence

Another fence in the Oz-colour designer series. Used extensively throughout Lakeside Pakenham, it is a 1.8m high fence with a 300mm top frieze. The frieze gives a more open feel to an estate with the picket style. This frieze can also be customized with laser cut patterns half way along the panel.

Tubular feature and pool fencing

This attractive fence is designed for security but does not block the view. It is 1.65 metres high and uses 65mm square posts which provide the support.
It provides a perfect place to put a secure letterbox.

This fence is 1.8 high steel powder-coated tubular, perfect for the home situated in a position with a view. Why would you lose the view with a standard timber or Colorbond fence? When you can have this unobtrusive fence which gives security and which cannot be sprayed with graffiti.
This fence is situated Lakeside Caroline springs, facing the Creek.

This 1.5 metre high Flat top tubular fence was installed for a day care centre. The tubular gate must open inwards with a Magna Latch lock which has self closing hinges and magnetic latch. This ensures if the gate is ajar a child will first try and push the gate open which closes it. This applies for pool fencing as well. The Fence must be at least 1.2m high for pools in Australia.

Montrose Designer fence

Along the same lines as all the other fences in this type, but with the simplicity of looks. The Montrose designer fence is also the cheapest fence of its type supplied by Oz-Colour fencing.
This fence is featured throughout the early stages of Caroline springs development.

Miniscreen

Front and back view

This fence incorporates the mini - orb fencing sheets with the cheaper style colourbond fence panel.
A very attractive option which acheives a neat looking finish.

This fence in Ironstone Colorbond is a Miniscreen fence using Metroll rails and posts, with 100x100 posts used as a feature front fence in Ormond.

Display homes

If you are looking to build a new home, it's highly likely you visit a display home belonging to one of the many builders that are in Melbourne. Almost every display village has tubular fencing around it  to act as a barrier and to guide potential customers through the sales office before and after they view the display homes.
These fences are often temporary as the display homes are sold after two to four years.
Pictured are the nine Porter Davis Display homes soon to be opened.
This fence is built from Aluminum panels and steel galvanised, powder-coated posts. Aluminum does not have the structural strength of steel, so I would not recommend it for pool fencing. I also noticed that the bars flex more easily which would make it easy for children to get their heads stuck between them.

Chisholm designer fence

Well this one is stunning in my opinion, one of the most attractive barrier fences on the Melbourne market.
Made with Galvanized and powder-coated BHP steel. Not the cheapest option, but long lasting and a real investment to any property.
The panels are quite heavy and two people are needed to install one whole panel. Each panel is fabricated as one whole piece. This could make the fence expensive to repair if  pickets are damaged. The risk of this is outweighed by the stunning looks of this fence.

Timber fences of Melbourne

Common throughout Melbourne this perma-pine rail, paling and hardwood post fence is by far the most popular. But slowly people are realizing the benefits of steel fencing.
Timber discolors, steel does not, Timber warps, steel does not. Life span of steel can be several decades. With timber you will be lucky if it still looks good at 15 years old.
However, you cant beat the smell and looks of a freshly installed timber fence. The way it blends in with the bushes of a native garden, the natural colour and texture.
NICE!

Mirbau Designer fence and gates

There are many attractive styles available and this Web log aims to show the recent styles and some of the work we do around Melbourne. This fence (pictured) uses the designer style rails and plinth used on the fences common in Caroline springs. But instead of steel sheets, incorporates 75mm Mirbu decking as slats making the fence slightly see through.

Below is a fence and Gates installed in Windsor. With Mirbau laminated posts and treated pine rails mounted with galvanised brackets. Stainless steel screws fasten the 90mm pickets reducing any chance of dis-lodging. Capped with painted black fence capping gives this fence a very smart appearance on a modern Windsor townhouse.
