Treated pine picket fence

Using an Exposed post timber fence frame as a frame, Treated pine pickets create a smooth and quality finish that is long lasting. This fence sits atop a retaining wall with 125x125 Cypress posts. The finished result is a very attractive and classy fence. The 5mm gaps between pickets allow some light and movement to be seen from inside the house, yet privacy in the house is maintained. Treated pine Pickets are available from Demak Outdoor Timber and Hardware (Ferntree Gully)
The TP pickets are very easy to paint not requiring sanding to give a smooth finish.

Lyasaght "Smartascreen" Colourbond fence

Smartascreen lives up to it's name. A smarter looking steel fence available in the Colourbond fence colours. This fence pictured is a 2.1 high fence and is also available in 1.5m high and 1.8m high. To add height the client has chosen to put a 200mm plinth board under the fence which prevents dirt or mulch spilling between house blocks which can also be different levels. This also prevents dirt piling against the steel fence which eventually rots the paint and causing fence deterioration and rusting. It has become a popular profile in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, to replace timber paling fences, as a more permanent replacement it provides years of service.
